We PROMISE you the lowest prices in the UK and we are not aware of any other web site offering lower prices than ours. If you purchase jewellery from us, and within 14 days find the same product elsewhere on the internet at a lower price, we will beat it or refund your money. We have tremendous buying power, minimal overheads, own our own buildings and workshops, have a simple no frills web site, no advertising costs, and consequently don't need to charge you for these things.
DATA: We have been established since 1981, and understand that security is an important issue. Credit card numbers are encrypted when your order is placed using the highest 128 bit encryption permissable over a SSL secure socket connection. Your card details are not stored on our computer network, and are destroyed as soon as practicable. All data is permanently encrypted, locked in safes when not in use, and prior to erasure.
Financial: Since 1981 we have been steadily building a strong financial base; we have zero debt, and purchase all our products direct from manufacturers without asking for credit. This gives us strong bargaining power and ensures the products we ship to you are ours to sell, and cannot be taken from you at a later date.
All items are subject to our no quibble money back guarantee, except for gold earrings, body jewellery, and special made to order items. Some diamond earrings are covered, you can review our simple returns policy here Returns. We aim to refund your card within one working day.
Additionally all our jewellery is guaranteed against manufacturing defects for
one year, and we will either repair, replace or refund defective goods at our discretion. Insured signed for return postage is
normally charged at our standard rate of £6.95 and we aim to replace or repair within 14 days.
We are delighted and overwhelmed by the feedback we have received from our customers. Read hundreds of our customers comments here: Reviews

We don't pretend to offer 'free' Boxes for the same reason - boxes can be purchased from £3.95 from a link in the shopping basket. If you don't need a box, we feel you don't need to pay for one.
We have a simple and clear returns procedure and will refund you in full for any product at your discretion. This is our returns procedure, which is duplicated on your invoice for your convenience Returns

We offer you the finest quality products available, sourced from Europe - Spain, Italy, France and the UK. Every product is rigourusly tested and is fully compliant with our UK hallmarking laws. Every product carries our 9ct/0.375 stamp
for 9ct or 18ct/0.750 stamp for 18 carat gold as tested by the independent government licensed Assay Offices in either London or Birmingham. Many Antique items were never hallmarked, but we usually indicate this in the description.
How we Calculate Prices:
Prices from the Diamond Set, Antique and Loose Diamond sections are exact, and you should pay whatever the price was at the time of ordering.
Gold Section: Estimated Weights
Weights of products we send you may vary from those shown on this web site due
to manufacturing tolerances. Prices charged on your invoice will be based on
the actual gold content weight of the products delivered to you. In the gold section, the
final price you pay will be based upon the gold price per gram when
you place your order, and the actual picked weight of the items in your order. The weights
quoted are estimated weights.
For example: if you select a curb bracelet at £7.05 per gram, with a gold content weight of 6.5 gms, the cost will be:
7.05 x 6.5 = £45.83 which we calculate for you.
When your bracelet is packed, it may weight 6.3 gms so you will be charged:
7.05 x 6.3 = £44.42
or it may weigh 6.7 gms and you would be charged:
7.05 x 6.7 = £47.24
but the gram price of 7.05 will be the same - same good value, whatever the weight.
This is the way that the wholesale jewellery trade operate, and the only way to operate effectively if you work on small margins. When a shop purchases gold from a wholesale jewellers, the goods are weighed and a price per gram paid, the same way that we charge you. UK gold prices are fixed twice a day and we often change prices to reflect this, so an item in which you were interested in the morning may be a different price in the afternoon.
Prices quoted are what you pay, there is NO additional Vat to calculate.
Loose diamond and gold prices are converted from dollars ( both diamonds & gold are still traded in US dollars ) and will fluctuate with the exchange rates. We may require payment by bankers draft/ transfer for some of the more expensive items.
Price per gram (ppg) This is a calculation that allows us to compare how much we are paying for an item. If we wished to purchase a curb chain for instance that costs £100 and weighs 25 grams the cost per gram is 100 divided by 25 = 4 pounds per gram. We are paying £4 for every gram of gold. If another chain costs £200 and weighs 40 gms, the cost per gram is 200 divided by 40 = 5 pounds per gram. We are paying £5 for every gram of gold. The second chain is more expensive on a per gram price, and to be an equal bargain should cost £160 ( 40gms x 4 pounds per gram). We kindly work this out for you so you can compare our prices. If a shop will not tell you how much a chain weighs, there is usually a reason!. To calculate the price per gram then:
1: Find 2 similar products
2: Take the cost price
3: Divide this by the weight
The one with the lowest number is the better deal for identical products. ie 4 ppg is better than 5 ppg.
